Luomeshe

"Luo" can mean either "tiger" or "tea leaves" in Yi. In this case, locals guess the Yi name is derived from the Mandarin name, which means "yellow tiger paw". "Me" means mushroom, and "she" means yellow. The meaty texture and excellent flavor of luomeshe make it often enjoyed at home, usually fried with hot peppers.
